Syntax:

    int putchar( int ch );
</code>
The putchar() function writes ch to stdout. The code

<code>
     putchar( ch );
</code>
is the same as

<code>
     putc( ch, stdout );
</code>
The return value of putchar() is the written character, or EOF if there is an
error.
